And Happy Boxing Day, Too!

Day 328 Home
I love this little contraption! Steve bought me a water cooler several years ago and I use it every day! My drinking water comes from it - because I like the flavor - and my tea water comes from it - because it heats up quickly! Thank you, Steve!

Day 329 Home
See these socks? I got these socks when I was pregnant with Dylan! These are some very old socks! My good friend, Tess, got them for me when I was pregnant. They were so cute....and they still are!

Day 330 Home
Check out this sunset! We live in an amazing part of the world! We often get gorgeous sunsets and sunrises....when I'm up early enough to see them!

Day 331 Home
And here's the sunrise!

Day 332 Tonasket Middle School Parking Lot
Dylan had a basketball game in Tonasket tonight. He and Lyndsi were getting along so well after the game....

Day 333 Home
Told you I was having trouble keeping plants alive! This is the Rosemary plant I mentioned in a previous post. I mistakenly called that one a Rosemary but that was a Sage of some sort. I'm not having much luck at all!

Day 334 The Evans Family Home
Thanksgiving Day! We spent the afternoon with Eric, Malana, Chase, Sophia, Blake, Uncle Lee, Aunt Georgie, Kim, Justin, Aunt Barb, Grandma and Great-Grandma Margaret. I love how my kids enjoy their cousins so much!

And to All a Good Night!

Day 318 Home
My fall mantle. I love my fall mantle!

Day 319 Home
Check out the carrot Lyndsi found at the store! This was her dinner vegie of choice tonight!

Day 320 Okanogan Middle School
It's hard to see Dylan but he's there, off to the right of the basket! Grandma Linda was here to watch this game with us. Basketball has been fun to watch this year. The boys really have come together and are all playing well.

Day 321 Home
See that tiny little glow at the tip-top of the tree? That's an owl looking at me!

Day 322 Skyhigh Trampolining, Spokane
Lyndsi wanted to have her birthday party in Spokane this year so we brought these 3 girls with us. They jumped on trampolines, ate pizza, sat in Nana and Papa's hot tub, and watched movies in Nana and Papa's basement. They had so much fun!

Day 323 Home
These are all mine and Lyndsi's birthday cards combined. We are so lucky to be so loved!

Day 324 Home
My good friend, Dayla, made me this coffee sleeve. Isn't it cute! Thank you, Dayla!

Day 325 Home
I love my new pillow! I'm hoping to transform my living room into these colors over the next few months. These are my "happy" colors!

Day 326 Salmon Creek Coffee Company
The coffee shop held an artists' reception for all the kids whose art was displayed here. They served hot cocoa and gave the kids the opportunity to talk to adults about their artwork. Lyndsi found 2 of her friends lounging on the couch.

Day 327 Virginia Grainger Elementary
Meet Evan and Flat Stanley! Evan needed his picture taken with Flat Stanley before he mailed Flat Stanley off on an adventure. So I used this picture for today!

Merry Christmas to All!

Day 310 Home
Lyndsi made dinner tonight - tater tot casserole. This is one of my childhood favorites! There's just enough left over for my lunch tomorrow!

Day 311 Home
Snow! Not enough to call it a snow day but there's snow! I'm not as excited about it as the kids are but I do love how clean everything looks when the first snow falls every year.

Day 312 Home
What happened to my green thumb? Second potted herb I've killed in less than a month. This one was rosemary. It just sort of shriveled up and died!

Day 313 Okanogan Middle School Cafeteria
Dylan's football banquet was tonight. Coach Radke had some encouraging words and an award for Dylan. Til next year!

Day 314 Virginia Grainger Elementary
Lyndsi, Jenna, and Reily are all part of the 5th grade Honor Choir. They put on a lovely Veteran's Day assembly today.

Day 315 Salmon Creek Coffee Company
The local coffee shop displayed art made by VG students in their building. It was so fun to walk through and see the art made by my kiddos!

Day 316 Home
Look at my cute owl napkin rings! Linda gave these cuties to me for my birthday!

Day 317 Apple Springs Nursing Home
Dylan and his Boy Scout troop put on a Veteran's Day show for the residents of Apple Springs Assisted Living. They gave speeches about Veteran's Day and did a flag ceremony.

I Might Actually Get Caught Up!

Day 297 Okanogan High School
Wow! That was all I could say! The guy on the far left told me that he "saw" twin offspring in my future! He's a mentalist and he picked me out of the audience to write down answers to some questions he had written on a notecard. Without looking at my card, he was able to tell me what I wrote. He also called me out of the audience. I know there has to be some sort of trick to this but still......

Day 299 Home
I love this little old lady! Dylan looks so real and so ooolllddd! Thanks to my clothes, a great mask, Mary Rubert's walker, and some fantastic acting, Dylan was a hit as an old lady for Halloween. Tonight was his Halloween dance and he was ready!

Day 300 Whistler Canyon
Lyndsi and I got to go on the annual Boy Scout bike trip up to Whistler Canyon this year. What a gorgeous ride! It wasn't easy but I'm so glad we participated. This was our lunch stop. You could see the river and the mountains behind. It was beautiful.

Day 301 Home
And check out this cute little old lady! I'm in love with both my grannies!

Day 302 Home
And here are our jack-o-lanterns for the year! Aren't they so cute!

Day 304 Jewel's Gymnastics
Lyndsi loves her gymnastics classes! Every Tuesday, Lyndsi spends an hour stretching and doing some strength training so she can cartwheel, flip, and spin to her heart's content.

Day 306 Home
Kayla and Lyndsi are ready to go off trick-or-treating!

Day 308 Home
Apparently, the chickens liked the pumpkins, too!

Day 309 Breadline Café
Tonight, Lyndsi and I joined Amy and Paige Sullivan at the Breadline Café for a fun girls' dinner. Lyndsi and I love this quirky little girl!

The Year's Almost Over!

Day 286 Stoup Brewing, Ballard WA
We finally got to see Robyn at work! I have no idea what she's doing here but it was sure fun to watch! And Stoup is beautiful! I'm amazed at what the warehouse has turned into.

Day 287 Robyn and Kim's Wedding, Seattle
Perfect day! The weather was gorgeous and the brides were glowing! I loved the personal touches given to the decorations, the ceremony, the party, the everything!

Day 288 Seattle, WA
Here's a view of the Camlin Hotel - our home for the weekend. Comfortable and great location!

Day 289 Okanogan High School
Lyndsi attended the cheer camp last week and tonight was their performance. She really enjoyed the dance this time. After a year or so of not really wanting to participate in cheering, Lyndsi has seemed to come full circle and wants to do it all now!

Day 290 Home
Aren't the flowers beautiful! This was a bouquet from Robyn and Kim's wedding. Definitely my colors!

Day 291 Okanogan High School
Dylan is really enjoying playing football this year. He's learning a lot and getting better every day. I'm even starting to understand the positions! And I truly enjoy watching his games.

Day 292 Home
Isn't the sunset pretty? And this picture doesn't do it justice!

Day 293 Virginia Grainger Elementary
This is one big pile of leaves! I was watching kids play in these leaves yesterday - they were having so much fun!

Day 294 Seattle
P!NK!! We're finally here! Awesome concert! Steve and I took a very quick trip back to Seattle to see Pink in concert. She is one amazing entertainer.

Day 295 Seattle
Well, this is a bit creepy! This home is across the street from Robyn and Kim. Their yard décor was a variety of body parts....Halloween decoration? I don't know.....

We've Hit the Busy Season!

Day 276 Home
This is one of my favorite signs! It faded in the sun and Dylan shot some holes into it but that just makes it all the more personal! I was upset with Dylan at first, and he did buy me a new sign, but now this little piece of metal holds a special place in my heart!

Day 277 Home
My Girl Scouts are running a fishing booth at Okanogan's Harvest Festival. The poles are old and the strings are tangled. Thank you, Dylan!!! My patience was not available tonight!

Day 278 Home
Nature's bounty! We just returned from Farmer's Market with some beautiful produce! Put them with the sugar skull Lyndsi painted and we have the start of our fall décor!

Day 279 Okanogan Sportsplex
I can't believe I was on an actual softball team! Dayla and Jon Culp asked us to play on their fundraising team, The Milkmaids and the Milkmen - You have to suck and like it! We rocked! As in, we lost every game but had the most fun! Steve was a stud and was voted MVP for our team. Yep - think we'll do it again next year!

Day 280 Nana and Papa's House
Dylan is wearing a bowtie for Robyn and Kim's wedding. Since none of us know how to tie bowties, we looked up Youtube videos and found a 10 year old who made a great, easy to follow video! I'm almost a bowtie expert!

Day 281 Home
Our wedding clothes are purchased and ready to go! I'm so afraid I'm going to forget something so I have all our wedding clothes wrapped and ready!

Day 282 Virginia Grainger Elementary
I have some great kids! I don't even remember what we were doing here but I can tell they're having fun!

Day 285 Seattle!
We've arrived in Seattle! Our hotel is right downtown and the night is so pretty that we took a walk after we checked in.
